General Terms and Conditions
Terms and conditions for the sale of tickets for the Adventure Life by Thule Camping event (ALT Camping event) organized by Thule Sweden AB (Thule) (Company Registration number: 556076-3970), Box 69, 330 33 Hillerstorp, Sweden, Tel no: +46 40 635 90 00, e-mail events@thule.com .
By placing an order for tickets all Guests warrant that they have read the Privacy Notice and that they have accepted these terms and conditions.
1. Program changes
Thule reserves the right to change the program if circumstances dictate.
2. Camping place and admission
To participate and drive in to the ALT Camping event area, the Guest´s vehicle must be equipped with a Thule car tent.
NOTE: In case the Guest arrives without a Thule car tent admission to the ALT Camping area is not permitted. In such case the registration fee is not refundable.
Registrations will be processed in the order they are received and are subject to availability. Camping places are subject to VAT and the price indicated on the invoice is inclusive of VAT. Under no circumstances are tickets to be photocopied or reproduced in any way. Camping places are not transferable. Any tickets that are transferred or sold for commercial gain will be voided and the holder refused entry to or rejected from the ALT Camping event area.
3. Meals: All inclusive – Full board
Thule will provide for the meals supplied as listed on the registration page during the event (2 x breakfasts, 2 x lunches and 2 x dinners as well as snacks and beverages without strong alcohol starting from 20 June lunch until 22 June breakfast)
4. Image rights
By taking part in the ALT Camping event, Guests grant Thule the right to use images of the Guest taken by Thule during the ALT Camping event on Thule’s social media channels and thule.com for marketing purposes. Additional information regarding Thule's use of images taken during the ALT Camping event will be provided on-site during the event.
The ALT Camping Guest hereby waives all rights of compensation against Thule for images taken on the camping site by Thule, as well as for distribution in the ALT Camping event print and online communication media. Camping Guests may however report any photos used in publicity material that may be prejudicial to them by contacting Thule via events@thule.com
By accepting these terms and conditions of participation, Guests consent to being photographed, filmed or taped by Thule or by third parties appointed by them. Thule and any authorised party may use such images in perpetuity in any print, promotional, advertising or publicity material in any format whatsoever. You further agree that copyright in these materials rests with Thule or such authorised party (as the case may be).
Please tag us on #adventurelifebythule or at #thule if posting from the ALT Camping event. Thule might repost the Guest´s social media posts with the tag on its own social media channels.
Guests may not use photos taken at the ALT Camping event for any commercial purposes and are further not allowed to alter the Thule trademark.
5. Cancellation Policy
In the unlikely event that the ALT Camping event is cancelled, Thule will provide only a refund of registration fee. Thule will not refund any other costs the visitor might incur related to the event e.g. renting vehicles, travel insurance, Thule car tent bought for the ALT Camping event etc. Registered visitors will be notified via email as soon as possible in case of cancellation of the ALT Camping event. Thule is not liable for any damages due to impediments beyond Thule’s control, which Thule could not reasonably have foreseen at the time of the sale, and the consequences of which Thule could not reasonably have avoided or overcome.
Given that the ALT Camping event is related to leisure activities under a specific time period, you have no right of withdrawal under mandatory law. However, in case you cancel your participation, a refund of the registration fee will be provided by Thule. In order to have the right to claim the refund of the registration fee, cancellation shall be made in writing and sent to events@thule.com no later than 19 May 2025. Refund is paid back within 5 to 7 business days after the cancellation was received.
6. Tickets for the ALT Camping event
The Guest´s ticket needs to be presented at the time of registration on 20 June 2025.
7. Liability and Governing Law
Thule shall have no further liability beyond the value of the ticket purchased. Thule shall not be liable for any loss of enjoyment or wasted expenditure. Personal arrangements, including travel which has been arranged by you, are at your own risk. You are responsible for having full insurance for you, your family, your dog and your vehicles, and whatever other items you bring with you.
All of these terms and conditions are governed by Swedish Law.

8. Force Majeure
In case if Force Majeure, Thule Sweden has the right to cancel the event even with a very short notice. The registration fee will be refunded within 15 days after the announcement of the event cancellation. Registered visitors will be notified via email which was given at the time of registration. Thule will not refund any other costs the visitor might incur related to the event e.g. renting vehicles, travel insurance, Thule car tent bought for the ALT Camping event etc.
Adventure Life by Thule Camping event Terms & Conditions
Participation is subject to owning / renting a Thule roof top tent or Thule Outset.
Children of any age are welcome.
Dogs are welcome.
Your own bikes, Thule Chariot carriers, SUPs, yoga mats, Nordic walking sticks, hiking shoes, camping chairs are welcome too.
Fires are allowed at the designated fireplaces.
Definitions:
Thule means Thule Sweden AB
ALT means Adventure Life by Thule
ALT Camping event means Adventure Life by Thule Camping event
Organizers means Thule Sweden AB
Guest means the person or persons registered for the ALT Camping event
Pitch means a car pitch
Thule Tent means any type of Thule and Thule – Tepui roof top tent or Thule Outset that the visitor / guest has purchased or rented previously and carried with itself to the ALT Camping event as its place for accommodation
The period of event is the period recorded on the website registration form
The price is the amount stated on the website when registering and required to be paid online after completing the registration
ALT Camping event is located at ALT Camp site at Hollows Farm, Lake District, United Kingdom
ALT Camping event undertakings:
- An ALT representative will be available to welcome the Guest on their first arrival at the ALT Camping event to show the Guest the location of their Pitch and provide further relevant information and the campsite rules
- The ALT Organizers will offer breakfasts, lunches, dinners, snacks and beverages (no strong alcohol) throughout the period of the event.
- Different types of activities will be offered to all Guests led by Thule ambassadors and / or local guides. Participation in any activities is at the Guests’ own risk.
- Driving in and out from the campsite during Friday and Saturday is not possible due to planned activities.
- If you arrive with an electric car, please make sure that your battery is fully charged as charging facilities are not available at the ALT camping area.
- Smoking is only permitted outside of the ALT Camping event area. Please note smoking includes vapours and/or e-cigarettes. No tolerance for illegal drugs.
- The use of fireworks are not permitted on the site.
- Flying drones at the campsite is not permitted.
- Children at the campsite need to be properly supervised at all times.
- No weapons are allowed on the ALT Camping event area.
- Dogs are welcome. You are always required to bring your pet’s vaccination certificate with you so that you can show it at the campsite, if required.
- Any loss, theft, damage or injury must be reported to the ALT reception immediately.
- The campsite is located in a natural area, in which uneven terrain may occur. If you have any questions or wish to obtain information related to accessibility, you are welcome to contact us.
Online registration
- It is the Guest´s responsibility to ensure the accuracy of the information provided to the ALT Organizers and ALT Organizers will not be held responsible for any errors.
- ALT Organizers will not be held responsible or liable for any losses caused by the failure of any party to provide their correct and valid email address and contact details.
- Please see ALT’s separate Privacy Policy regarding the handling of personal information provided by the Guest / visitor
Payment
- The Guest must pay for the participation at the time of registration to reserve the camping pitch for the period of the ALT Camping event.
- For the avoidance of doubt, a registration is refundable until 19 May, 2025 or in the event that the ALT Organizers are required to cancel the ALT Camping event
- ALT Organizers cannot be held liable or responsible for any cancellations or losses caused by force majeure. Force majeure includes natural and unavoidable catastrophes that interrupt the expected course of events and restrict ALT from fulfilling its obligations (e.g., but not limited to war, threat of war, industrial action, civil unrest, terrorist activity, natural disaster, extreme weather, disaster, extreme weather, disruption of electricity)
Travel Insurance
- ALT organizers urge all Guests / Visitors to carry adequate travel insurance.
